PD Customer Service Sucks!!!

Its been a week and we still have had no response from Porter Davis. They have terrible Customer Service, I must say.

The last we spoke to Porter Davis South East Area manager - Scott about fitting us in before Sep 30 was on 19th Aug. After lots of arguing and trying to put our point across we were told that he will look at our file will give us a call back in a day or two. Today, it has been exactly a week and no call back still.

Just an update - Spoke to PD again. They absolutely refused to fit us in before Sep 30.

So after lots of arguing , the sales Consultant gave us her boss's number. Let's see what he has to say.

SPEEDBREAKER in our plans

Just got a call from Porter Davis customer service agent. Wanted to book a tender appointment for October.

We had been very clear with our sales agent that we want to have everything signed by september 2009 end so that we can avail the maximum first Home Owners Grant.

Now they say that its not possible. Hmmmm. Called up Hubby immidiately almost on the verge of hysteria. He will now look into it while I worry myself sick.

We have finally liked a plan that meets all our requirements -
A Study - Home office for my hubby
A Rumpus Room - Combined home office for me & play room for my very active 10 month old boy
4 bedrooms - Enough space even when we have extended families visiting us.
A Formal Lounge/Theatre Room - Don't know why I wanted that, but I kew I could not do without it.
Anyways, meeting all these requirements is Porter Davis Home - Camberwell29. As soon as we saw the house we knew that our search is over, this is the one.
So, we paid $1000 grant on 12/08/09.

We are told that the building will start in Feb 2010 and finish by July 2010 (if everything goes as planned - fingers crossed)

We are waiting for the soil tests which will tell us what the site costs are.
